I am an iRobot enthusiast and have been working on them since 2009, I have repaired over 650 Roombas and 200 Scoobas (4/2/2013) in these past years, working with them is my best hobby of all and I take pride in my workmanship, I have sold over 900 iRobot product ranging for the Looj, Roomba, and Scooba, I have yet to get a hold of the Verro, but I can diagnose a problem and fix it in a matter of minutes.

Do you have any repairs for model 511 that won't charge and says charging error 7. Battery is at room temperature.
Been doing searches for a Series 640 and just found this channel, go figure Google/YT.... I have a 640 that we have been able to keep it going until today. The unit does not have a on board diagnostic just a battery indicator and a red triangle indicator. The unit will run, then stop and then the Red Triangle will illuminate. I did the hard rest and runs again and repeats. Took it completely apart cleaned it good and even sprayed electrical component clean thru the wheel motors...cleaned it good. It runs a lot long now before it stops, and the red triangle comes on again. "Hazel" has been a good unit and really want to save it for I cannot afford to buy a new. Anybody..... have good/useful recommendations/suggestions on troubleshoot to figure out what may be the problem for a fix. Thank you!!!
at 15:34...what kind of sensors are those right between your thumb and fingers on your left hand? Those two rubber-covered disks. I assume it's some kind of bump/obstacle detector but are they ultrasonic? infrared? conductive rubber?
I can’t get the wheel screws back in 🤬
Excellent video thank you ! I was wondering did you manage to replace the vacuum motor on the iSeries ? I have an error 26 and I have the feeling is on the motor responsible of the vacuum. I will do some trial and error to find the exact issue also the motor and the fan seems to be very well fixed together not sure it can be disassemble
Thank you so much! This is my first time trying to repair anything like this. I made a beginner mistake and didn’t note which color screws go with which part. Do you happen to have a resource for this? I can’t tell the color or size of the screws in your video. Can’t wait to try again this is pretty fun and I really hope my repair worked!
Thank you. I've been looking for ways to remove the FacePlate of older model like this. Glad you provided it here. God bless you.
Just tell me wete the cliff sencer is
I have 692 don't think the brushes are turning. Took it all apart since it was very noisy. I cleaned everything. Including the gears for the bushes. Can you help?
My room a 770 model is displaying r5E and keeps making a noise prior to displaying that message. I’ve taken it fully apart, cleaned it all of debris....2 times. The letter E is missing the top line so it’s not quite an E. HELP.🙏
Thank you
What price
Thanks! Mine was a "quick fix " but this video made it quicker!
dis guy have one problem. his vacuum impeller
How do you connect it to WiFi or the app without the QR code
This is an ancient model and does not support wifi
Great video. Thanks. $50 in new parts and it's running again like a new unit. New sensors, brushes and all set. Had to reopen twice. Finally figured out I installed the front silver bumper incorrectly.
the aerovac bin noise is different to the standard bin which is cool
what does the max button do on the 610 and 625?
It makes it run until the battery runs out
The serial number is missing
how do you fix a charging error 3 in the 700 series?
Thank you!! I need to clean everything. I dropped an egg and before I could pick it up, the roomba came over…
Thank you! That was super helpful
Very helpful thank you!
Do you have video s9 bumper?
Hello, I'm Gábor from Hungary (Europe) Could you help me with this type of vacuum cleaner: it doesn't do anything, it doesn't respond to any buttons, only when I plug the charging connector directly into it. Then the power button pulses orange and I can set the time on it. As soon as I unplug it, it does nothing again. An inexperienced mechanic said he thought the electronics in the battery were bad, but he wasn't sure. I want your opinion because I don't want to throw money out the window. Thank you for your help. (Sorry for the language mistakes, but I only speak a little English)
I watched this when I was 6… this is what got me into roombas
Why not just edit in the background music?
COol!😊
Excepcional el mejor video sobre como desmontar el roomba 77X. Gracias. Thank you
I took my brushes out to clean and now I have an extra piece...
It says 531
When I pulled that module out there was a tiny spring magnetically attached to my motor. I see one other little spring like this on the unit but this one is just randomly there. Any ideas?
Thank you for a very concise and practical tutorial
Note: the clean tool in yellow doesn’t fit that brush style! Only the red colored one with the pointy things inside it works
This helped a ton. Thanks. My robot ate some dog poo and ruined the motherboard.
THX!
thanks somuch
will I lose the programing in my I Robot when I change the battery
Hello, thank you very much for sharing, there is no technical assistance in my city here in Brazil, could you give me a tip because my vacuum cleaner of this same model, being super clean, stops working and tells me to clean it, I can't understand the message that's why I don't even know where to clean it, thank you
Thanks for the good video! I have problems with dust WITHIN the gap sensors. Is there any way to open and clean them?
So could do it? I'm having the same issue, I see balls of dust there inside, but I don't know how to open it's clear cover to cleaning inside.
You da man. Thank you!
Muchas gracias!!
Worked like a charm! Thanks
HOW TO ATACH DE BLACK PART OF THE BOMPER
COMO COLOCO LA TIRA NEGRA DE PLASTICO QUE VA SOBRE EL PARAACHOQUE, SE DESPRENDIO CON UN GOLPE.
Thank you soooo much!! It worked! I bought the correct part off of eBay (used) as customers on Amazon said the new parts didn’t work. I found that the part I purchased had to be modified as well, since both sides of the bumpers were the same, and one wouldn’t fit into the side. I was able to refit it, and reattach the small spring inside after a couple of tries 😁. Everything in your video worked perfect! Thank you!
Great video. I needed to get to the annoying speaker and disconnect the wire. Thanks to you I found out how to take it apart, find the correct wire and unplug it. The roomba was working fine except that it would continue to peep saying that the roomba can't locate the battery. I called iRobot for assistance and they said I needed a new motherboard or they will give me $100 towards the purchase of another one. No thanks...😂. It is working fine now and no constant peeping.
